Residents and Business Owners,

The Town of Pinedale is undertaking the Reduction and Conveyance Project to enhance the stormwater management system. This initiative includes designing and constructing a stormwater conveyance system to redirect the Orcutt Seep water from the Pine Creek Ditch (Lee Ditch) north of Pinedale to Pine Creek, permanently removing this water from the Town’s sanitary sewer system.

Project Overview:

  • Scope: Installation of an outlet structure, approximately 1,500 linear feet of

underground piping to an existing Town underdrain system, and a piping system

leading to Pine Creek within Boyd Skinner Park.

  • Purpose: Reduce wintertime inflow and infiltration into the Town’s sanitary sewer

    system.

  • Construction Schedule:

    • Construction Start Date: March 24, 2025

    • Anticipated Construction Time Frame: Park 1-2 weeks

    • Expected Paving Timeline: May-June

    • Park Closures: The pathway will need to be closed in the park interim to

allow trenching. Repair work will be completed as soon as reasonable when

      conditions allow.

Construction Activities:

The project will involve concrete and asphalt removal, pipe laying, new manhole

installations, an Agri Drain system from the kids fishing pond within Boyd Skinner Park to an existing underdrain manhole, and subsequent repairs and modifications.

Work Hours:

Construction activities will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work on Saturdays requires prior approval, and no work will be conducted on Sundays except for emergencies.

Traffic and Road Closures:

Temporary traffic control measures, including road closure signs and barricades, will be in place to ensure public safety and manage traffic flow effectively. Please remain alert to posted signage and detour routes.
