Re: 825 Driftwood Street Variance Request
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Pinedale Planning and Zoning Commission of Pinedale, Wyoming will hold a hearing on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 12 p.m. in the Lovatt Room of the Sublette County Library, 155 South Tyler Avenue, Pinedale, Wyoming.
The purpose of the hearing is to discuss a setback variance application submitted by Craig and Nancy Ritschel for a covered porch addition at 825 Driftwood Street that encroaches on the front setback of the property.
The subject property is located in the R-1 zone district which stipulates that "the minimum yard for structures in the R-1 District is:
A. Front yard: 20 feet; corner lots shall have a twenty-foot building setback from both streets (Pinedale Town Code, §475-56.A).
Yard encroachment is defined in §475-57 indicating B. Open or unwalled porches, terraces, balconies and exterior stairways may project 3 1/2 feet into front and rear yards.
C. Cornices, overhangs, eaves and gutters may project two feet into all yards (§475-57.B and C)."
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to allow for public input regarding the variance. All persons interested in the proposed action are invited to appear and express their views.
