Construction Starting Soon!

Town Of Pinedale

CONSTRUCTION NOTIFICATION

Shallow Water Main Replacement Project

Dear Resident,

The Town of Pinedale is set to commence work on the Shallow Water Main Replacement Project. This project will involve the removal and replacement of existing water and sewer main lines, along with service lines, in the Redstone Second Addition, covering Shanley Avenue, Quartz Street, and Jade Street. We recognize that freezing issues have been a persistent challenge in this area for several years, and we are pleased to move forward with this essential infrastructure improvement.

Over the past two years, the Town has diligently secured the necessary funding and completed the project design. Following a competitive bidding process this past winter, we have contracted Westwood Curtis Construction to execute the work, with Nelson Engineering overseeing the project.

As with any major infrastructure project, there will be temporary disruptions before improvements are realized. Construction is scheduled to begin on April 14, 2025. During the first week, Westwood Curtis Construction will conduct exploratory excavation and remove existing pavement from Quartz Street, Shanley Avenue, and Jade Street. Work on the water and sewer lines is expected to begin the week of April 21, 2025. Once initial excavation is complete, the project team will have a clearer understanding of how to proceed while ensuring the continuity of water and sewer services throughout construction.

The Town of Pinedale is committed to keeping residents informed throughout the duration of this project. Updates will be posted periodically at www.townofpinedale.us. You may also scan the QR code included with this letter for direct access to project updates.

During construction, there may be times when access to your residence is temporarily restricted. We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation with the contractor as we work to minimize disruptions. While every effort will be made to reduce inconveniences, some impacts are unavoidable.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Abram Pearce at (307) 367-4136 or via email at abrampearce@townofpinedale.us

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we undertake these critical improvements to our community’s infrastructure.
